New Sculpture, Crowdfunding, and Events

I have a lot going on right now. It's pretty exciting. First up, I finished a sculpture I've been working on for over a year: the Lady of Innsmouth. She's an 8 1/2 inch tall but inspired by the Shadow Over Innsmouth by H.P. Lovecraft. Of course I took a more sympathetic view of the denizens of Innsmouth than Lovecraft, imagining them as alien and aquatic but still striking and beautiful. That the revulsion of outsiders was out of fear of the unknown not because they were truly monstrous looking. I'm working on a video of the creation process and I'll be posting that in the next couple weeks.

Along with finishing her I've decided to take this sculpture to the next level and mold and cast her. To afford to do this I'm going to be launching a Kickstarter campaign next month. Visit the page I set up for the Lady of Innsmouth to learn more about the project. If you would like to be notified of when it launches either like my page on Facebook or sign up for my mailing list.

Next up are events. Right now I have 5 between June and the end of September. First up is MASSive Comic Con in Worcester, Massachusetts, June 27-28. There's also another couple comic cons, a steampunk fair, and the big one Necronomicon in Providence RI. More on where I'll be exhibiting this summer will be available on my events page.
