Entering the giveaway is a two step process:
1) You must answer me these questions three:
- What cephalopod do you find the most facinating?
- Why do you think so?
- What is your favorite color?
The winner will be picked by random chance using RANDOM.ORG based on the number of their comment. The winner will be posted on the blog as well as contacted via email and have 48 hours to claim their prize (after which I will pick another winner at random).
Don't forget that the Cephalopod Days Sale is going on in my Etsy Shop, I have 15% off cephalopod jewelry.

I find the Nautiluses most fascinating for me. I liked it because of its shell build. I like teal green color.
I've always found the octupus to be the most fascinating. I think it's cos they remind me of Lovecraft's Cthulhu. Purple is my favourite colour!
The cuttlefish are the very best, ALWAYS! :3
Their ability to change the color and texture of their skin is fascinating, the fact that they can see polarized light through those ADORABLE eyeballs, and they're amazingly smart! and just adorably SQUEEEE!!!!!
Fave color would be blue, no green... no.... blue! :3
I love them all, but I think I'll have to go with argonaut as the most fascinating, because they're octopuses, but they build shell-like egg cases and then float along with them, tending their eggs. And my favourite colour is deep green (also purple, but mostly green).
The octopus fasinates me the most. It is a very intelligent creature. The ability to solve simple problems and fit in various places it what captivates me. My favorite color is turqoise.
I am a paleontologist, so I love the ammonites. They have such beautiful suture patterns. My favorite color is metallic green.
Deep-sea Vampire squid, because it's got its own special class. Robin-egg blue.
I find the Giant Squid the most fascinating, because of their long history as mysterious, horrifying shades of the deep sea that, like Snuffleupagus, resisted documentation.
My favorite color is olive green.
I love cuttlefish because of how absolutely peaceful they look as they rest. And they're adorable when they burrow in the sand to sleep. My favorite color is dark blue/purple :)
I absolutely LOVE cuttlefish. Their eyes are the most fascinating part, with their w-shaped pupils. They're so smart and curious. And they have their secret pair of feeding tentacles that shoot out to catch prey! HUZZAH!
My fave color is lime green. :3
I have a soft spot for all cuttlefishes, and have been able to draw an anatomically correct one on request for many years. :) A particularly amazing one is Pfeffer's Flamboyant Cuttlefish, or Metasepia pfefferi. I like it because it has a lot of interesting shape and character to its mantle and tentacles, and its threat display is very colourful! It is also quite small as cuttlefish go, and one of only a handful of cephalopods found to be toxic, so he's a little guy that can really pack a punch! I like so many colours it is hard to choose, but a rich teal is one of my favourites.
My favorite is the cuttlefish as seen in David Gallo's TED talk recorded March 2007. I dazzle my students with that video of this incredible shape & texture shifting creature.
My favorite color is royal blue.
Oh, it's so hard! I guess I find the pygmy Octopus micropyrsus the most fascinating (that word is missing an "s" in your post, by the way). They live in shallow water close to shore, and yet they're extremely difficult to find and we know so little about them. Also, they were the subjects of my first cephalopod research project, so they have a special place in my heart!
My favorite color is purple.
My hero has to be cthulhu, coz he's tough and beats up godzilla. My favourite colour is red - no - blue, arrgghhhh ....
The type of cephalopod I find most fascinating is actually an individual, Aurora the octopus.
Aurora protected her eggs, stayed by her young, even when others had given up hope. Hers is a touching story.
As for my favorite color, it would be Blue. No.. Yellow.....Aughhhhh! ;) Teal... the perfect blend of the sea.
1. I admire all Cephalopods, but I especially fancy Nautilus belauensis, or simply Nautilus.
2. Because, well.. They are different from the typical Cephalopod, with specifications, and a shell unlike the rest, and our able to balance themselves. I admire balance... I suppose it is the fact they are ancients and the oddities of the Cephalopods that I admire them so.
3. As an artist, I am always inclined to say I appreciate all colors. But if a specific must be offered, I pose any sea/nautical blue, say Lapis Lazuli.
1: I love the Cuttlefish.
2: It's lightshow is like Nature's Las Vegas.
3: I like Cobalt Blue.
Greetings....
My favorite cephalopod is the octopus - I used to doodle them all the time when I was little. I especially like their neat curving rows of suction cups. My fave colors are the secondaries, especially purple.
Contest or no contest, your jewelry is lovely!
Nautilus are more fascinating for me because of how they navigate under water. Technically they have a poor vision so they use their sense of smell most of the times. For me that is fascinating.
My favorite color is blue.
